Synced lyrics in your music video: transcribe, correct, style

Musaic writes the lyrics of your song by listening to the vocal, and places every word on the timeline with its own timing. You correct words and timings on the lyrics timeline, pick one of about 30 styles such as Karaoke Glow, Doodle or Typed, and can let the lyrics pass behind the person in the shot. Lyrics are part of Musaic Pro.

You need: Musaic Pro and a take with a vocal. For the transcription, the audio of that take is sent to my server and is not kept.

Steps

  1. Open the Lyrics tab

    Tap Generate Lyrics.

  2. Pick the language and the source

    Choose the Language: English, Deutsch, Italiano, Français, Español, Português, Nederlands, Polski, Русский, 日本語, 한국어 or 中文. Under Audio source, take the full mix or one layer, for example the lead vocal. Then tap Generate.

  3. Correct words and timing

    On the lyrics timeline, tap a word to select it, change its text, and drag it to the right moment.

  4. Choose a style

    Pick a preset, then adjust the entrance, size, colours, shadow, glow, background and alignment in the settings.

  5. Put the lyrics behind you

    Under Behind the subject, turn on the switch. The words pass behind the person in the shot.

Good to know

  • Does it detect the language?

    No. You pick the language, which makes the transcription more reliable.

  • Is my audio stored?

    No. The take is sent over an encrypted connection for the transcription and not kept.
